2, 3, 8? i'd love to learn how to bake -__-
for my dad's birthday i made him lovely heart-shaped cookies from scratch, but he said he got too full to finish them. i know my dad and he doesn't pass up on sweets so the next day i questioned him on whether he liked them or not, refused to give me an answer :|
i tasted them myself and they came out all dough-flavored ;_;

2, 3, 4, 6, 8.
I'm apparently a good cook with natural talent, since I don't cook often, but when I do, aside from once or twice where my sister is being a ***** and tries to put me down, people tell me that it's one of the best they've had. However, I still have a lot to learn, since my only "orginal" recipe I made up on the spot is taking breakfast sausage, cooking it slowly in a pan over low heat in maple syrup and some extra seasonings, and then pouring it over homemade bread to make an openfaced sandwich, and if it wasn't for the fact there weren't any eggs in the house since my sister used the rest of them the night before, I would have had a side of eggs over easy to go with it.
And even if I took my talent in cooking and made something with it, I doubt I would ever not be choosing the 8th option. People that say they are a 6 but not an 8 are people with absolutely no passion in cooking, and are only saying that they're a 6 so that they can feel better about themselves. You can always improve your recipes, even if they are already the best in the world. You can find a new way to cook something, experiment with your food. Cooking is an art, and shouldn't be static. It should be built upon and improved consistently until you are physically or mentally unable to cook anymore.

6+8.
It is obvious Arsik is a 6, I'm not so convinced about the others claiming it. OP putting 8 at the top instead of the bottom is very ingenious though, and fitting. I approve.

or they could be people who know they're not perfect, like anyone else who is working on a skill. coming on a little too strong there imo.
though, i'm not even clear on your definition of original is, unless you mean cooking without a recipe and using intuition like Michael Smith. There are few who have mastered the ins and out of food (I suppose this is your qualification for being a 'cooking mama'), but there are many who know how to make food well enough and have it taste good, because honestly not every meal needs to be a creative masterpiece that makes you weep with joy when you eat it.
that being said, I'd be an 8. learning recipes from my mother, who cooks beautifully but can never make the same meal twice in a row, for better or for worse.
