What about the tilde wave cylinder?
That is in Defeat Fomor Commander II (Elite only) if I remember right.

I so have to get a whole bunch of those. Bye Bye Will o' wisp...oh wait...Suffix or Prefix. I need to know so I can determine if it replaces Will o' wisp or supplements.
Also is the Trinity Staff really good for "intermediate magic" or is it just useful for "advanced magics" like hailstorm?
Sprout is suffix. Does Crash shot do any justice to this mission?

Sad part is... This works even when they have PD.
It's really brilliant if people are coordinated enough.
The stage itself is relatively small. And no ice mines either. Otherwise, I would use ice golems to send suicidal stone golems to their death. >>

Advantage of Trinity staff is that it is not a wand, therefore does not connect with your mana. you won't lose any for unequipping it. Since you're a melee/mage hybrid that could be very handy.
Drawback: it is not a wand, therefore does not connect with your mana. If you meditate with it equipped, you are slowed to a walk like any other non-wand weapon.
In order to use Trinity staff with intermediate magics, you have to spam some bolt spells of the element you want to use to charge it. Trinity staff basically turns your intermediate magics into a heat-buster playstyle, where you spam weak attacks for a bit, then unload a strong attack now and then. In my opinion, you're better off using an elemental wand if you plan to use a particular adv magic. The flexibility to use all three with the same weapon really isn't that flexible at all. I'd say Trinity staff's primary purpose is hailstorm currently, however whenever fire and lightning advanced magics are finally released, that flexibility will become incredibly important to a mage... staff is a must-get for any mage hybrid or not. It just won't be making your wands obsolete any time soon.
