long bow path 144 or 153?

If you must upgrade a long bow, 144 provides greater ADACT. Max damage is also more easily obtained through enchants than critical.

The long bow cannot be S/R upgraded come G13. I recommend you obtain a leather long bow/elven long bow/wing bow or a highlander long bow.

Don't stick to leather long bow... S/R weapons are bound to you like an ego, and if you abuse them for leveling or other general purposes they will not last long.

Ideally, you will want an S/R Highlander or Wing Bow for demanding missions or dungeons and a stockpile of Glorious Caliburn/Delusional/Spike/Palm Tree Long Bows for normal situations and grinding.

Special upgrade stones, according to another thread here on the forums, drop from intermediate+ theatre missions. Doesn't seem like they'll be too hard to get your hands on. Compared to the difficulty of getting glorious/caliburn/spike or even delusional, I think an overgraded bow is not too hard to get.

Because S/R weapons are bound to you... if you do work on getting a Highlander/Wing Bow S/R-Type and also happen to have an ego, that's already 4x3 of your personal inventory gone. The upgrades can be expensive if you're unlucky, and inventory space limits you from the number of personalized items you can reasonably carry without service.

Not to mention, the only path for the LLB that can even compete with the Long Bow for critical will barely put it ahead for max damage until G14 and be much more expensive to repair, which defeats the purpose of a general usage/grinding bow.
