Mk, so I'm thinking about making a 115 elven short bow and a 180-2 warhammer. My question is, what enchants should I put on these two, and is there any reccomendations on better weapons, or are these two fine?
Thanks for your input.

Depends on what you looking for. Are you looking for damage? critical? Do you have high balance when you equip upgraded warhammer? The list goes on.

Looking for more damage output. Yes I do have enough dex to cover the 0% balance on the warhammer.

Hmm, you can put:
Goddess (+12 Max) Caliburn (+10 Max) Total: 22 Max
Shadow Hunter (+10 Max) Spike (+14 Max) Total: 24 Max
(G13) Duke [20~30 Str (8~12 Max)] Might [29~45 Str (11~18 Max)] Total: 19~30 Max
These might not be the easiest though for some of them.

Glorious Caliburn/Spike would work well on the Elven Short Bow.
Choosing between Caliburn or Spike just means whether or not you prefer decent damage + great critical or great damage + low repair fee... I would go Caliburn, since a 115 ESB usually means you want fast consecutive Magnums and the skill benefits most from high critical.
As for the Warhammer, Cypress Spike works well since it gives decent damage + crit and allows you to do a bit of stamina abuse when you switch to range.

These will all work for the ranged weapon. Speaking of which, the Elven Short Bow cannot be S/R upgraded. I highly suggest upgrading another weapon, namely the Highlander Long Bow.

You can't spam the mission from which it's obtained. I've only ever seen one.

The weapon speed (fast) of the ESB is not a factor at all even for final shot+elven magnum load times. The only two forms of ranged combat where that is a factor are human's AR and elves final shot+normal range, as those are the only situations where skill load time is shorter (or irrelevant in the case of AR) than the delay of the bow. For fast, consecutive magnums you'll want any bow that is not slower than final shot+magnum load time, and gives the highest max damage+crit (range is also not important because you'll be 0-shotting).
Unless you're referring to the stun; the lower stun time of a fast bow may make it easier to avoid redowning your foe.

That's what I used to think as well, but it's outdated information. Refire does affect the delay between consecutive Magnum Shot and Crash Shots... fairly easy to prove if you get a fast bow and a slow bow and test raw spammage if you have no lag. I got this information from people on the nexon forums armory who are mabi wiki editors and have tested this, and by reading through JP wiki's discussions on short bows and elven shorts. Bow speed also does affect aiming slightly, although maximum range is still the major determining factor.
