In less than 24 hours. Way to ruin my own credibility.
Anyways, I'm at a local library right now.
Things got bad to worse when they magically found me and claimed my car and phone.
This is really bad. Those two resources were too crucial for my survival out here.
I'm asking you guys for suggestions, because more minds bring out more ideas.
I'm running on 500 dollars, I'm selling my lappy for 400 (though I'll probably get like 300).
I have a ****ty minimum wage part time at burger king, which will not be able to pay for living.
I don't know anyone who would want to roommate at an apartment.
I'm currently freeloading at a friends, but need to move out asap.
Not much time left. I'm making calls on the public phone and contacting people on facebook.
And hopefully going to the bank soon to make an auto loan, though I don't even have a car in mind or sight.
Suggestions and help is welcome. I'll come check back tomorrow.
And Kaz! My daughter! I'll be back fo real in like 8 months!

This would be a great movie

I wouldn't be surprised if they bugged your car and found you with a GPS tracker or something just so they can take it back.
[s]Well there's always the rob a bank option. It's a win win where you either get a sh*t ton of money or you get sent to jail where you'll have a place to sleep and free meals.[/s] Yeah, I really can't think of anything that could really help you out in your situation.

huh... umm.. oh jeeze.
Since you're in america i would have told you to just rent a place and take out as much as you can on student loan, and then apply for bankruptcy after finishing your education, but I think they only let people who have relatives who work in the government do that nowadays.
I seriously have nothing else in mind. I'd buy like a single lottery ticket and hope to god that you will win that 0.000000000000000001% chance at free life.

Honestly? There's only one thing I can think of. Get a better job. It's about the only choice you've got. Start looking religiously for one. (Though, didn't you say you had two employers who'd be willing to hire you?) If you can't keep freeloading off of friends, you could rent a motel room, but you're going to have to act pretty quickly. If you need a phone for the purpose of employers calling you, get one of those prepaid phones and get a phone card for it.

Check bulletin boards for people looking for roommates.
Get a better job that isn't food related. Randomly bunk with friends until you find an apartment. They should understand as long as you're only there at mornings and nights and not be in the way.
You can always do side jobs like lawn mowing or housecleaning during the little free time you have. Now stop procrastinating unless you want to be on the streets.

That's crazy. Just because you're not going to college until the Fall.
Your folks need to reevaluate themselves.

Get as many part-time jobs as you can, continue to search for more and better jobs, find things that you can buy and resell for a higher price, look for churches and other places that give free food. Basically, you should not have any free time.

Two things: a good deal of new Asian American parents would've done the same or something similar, and Asians don't like changing.

This.
You have very little to land on now.

Say you're sorry and abide by the rules?
Think of the consequences of living on your own... you will end up losing more than you have already lost. My advice is say you're sorry and do whatever they want you to do.

He already done a lot of stuff his parents are against
like flunking college on the first year and NEETing for 1.5 years
The irony of this was that Kitae moved out from his house in the first place to live on his own
(where he returned)
and now he's kicked out.

Cat, stop using the word NEET for everything remotely anime-fanish. He had a job for a while now, therefore he can't be a NEET. NEET stands for Not Enrolled, Employed or Training, meaning in a more sensible fashion, that the person isn't going to school, has no job, nor is the person in the military or training for a career (journeyman/apprentice). Hell, it's not even a Japanese phrase, it's British.
But Kitae, your best bet is to either do what they want and try to convince a college to let you enroll late, or at least convince them that online courses are real and can work, even if you're only doing it for now so that you can get some of your credits like English out of the way now instead of later.

I agree that the opportunity costs are not really worth it to begin with.
The trouble I do forsee if they take you back in is that they are going to be even more obsessive about what you do since there is further loss of trust as this situation is going.

Because time = money to Asians. Money not as in the negative sense of the root of all evil but about the empowerment that it brings to almost all situations. You can call it a way of life.
Kitae's mostly in this predicament due to a lack of funds (crazy parents aside).
Rather than putting the blame on parents, I think one should go further and re-evaluate themselves first.
Suggestion-wise, not much, but will there be a way to keep the laptop and get more funds in? To me, connection is pretty important and even if I'm broke I'll never sell anything that has the ability to help me connect with anyone fast. Moreover laptop is something that your parents will never take away?
About getting a place to stay, should probably find some people who can share the rent or so. You need to find those people even if you don't know any or get people to introduce them to you. Make the opportunities yourself and they will find you.
