  Only thing egos have is the ego bow's range. And that won't really win against the special upgrades.

  You underestimate exactly how many people have Egoed bows with 2400+ range.

  Then again not everyone has social 21+ xD
  
  But just for bows and wands, the awakening would wipe out many of the normal weapon users. xD

  The players with spirit weapons would obviously win (in guild battle/EVG), simply due to the increased range of their AR machines. That being said, EVG and Guild Battle have no rewards; making them pointless.

  Unless your ego is a LLB or wing bow or your sword is a high max one hander like a bastard sword or muramasa you kind of just got owned. Ah yes or if you have an ego wand but i really hate ego wands anyway so i never think of them as anything more than a glowing chain cast wand with an apatite.
  
  Really I'm going to have both. I'm still deciding on my main weaponry since it's going to be stored in my item bag after the special over upgrades. So i'm deciding carefully what weapons I'm choosing for my play style.
