How much Crit % do I need to have 30% Crit on almost everything?

I was just wondering, since my Crossbow as it is now already gives me a total Crit % of around 60 or 70 or so. I've heard that it's particularly hard getting crits on stuff in Shadow Missions.

If i Remember correctly you need like 131 or around that to crit hardmode monsters 30% based on Crea's guide for tail monsters... with elite shadow missions comming Meant for ppl above 2k (but even a total 1? I think can enter them, but u need a pass) I seriously doubt 131 crit will be enough , prob gonna need around 150 or so.. which is impossible... if im mistaken in g12... but g13... maybe its possible quite a few crit stuff is coming out along with Weekend enchant +60 luck on saturday

In my opinion, 90% can crit almost anything on Adv, 98% for hard mode, 110% for Elite, 130% for Peaca\Alby Adv., 160% for Alby Adv. HM.

You can critical a lot of Hard mode SM monsters with just 90%. Almost all of them at 130%. For monsters requiring over 130%, it is probably better off just poisoning them or use an another attack.

90/110/130% are the usually the most common critical checkmarks... Though ~110% is the most optimal for hardmode, since you'll be able to crit just about everything besides certain bosses with 50%+ protection.

It is possible to reach ~190% critical with a Wing Bow and the best possible combination of enchants for critical as well as the player's will/luck stats... even more than that with Elf trans' 38% critical boost.

G13 will make this number even higher, though, but some of the best critical enchants are also impossibly hard to get (steel needle, etc).

At age 17 with no food bonuses, music bonuses, pet bonuses, or transformation, it's still possible to get near 170% crit with anything besides wands/cylinders.

Off the top of my head, if I really wanted more crit, the best enchants currently implemented would increase my crit by...
Acc --> +4% (Beautiful 1 -> Fearless 4, Thief 2 -> Earnest 3)
Hat --> +9% (No Suffix -> Round 9)
Clothing --> +2% (Thief 2 -> White Horse 4)
Glove --> +5% (Fearless 4 -> Steel Needle 9)
Shoe --> +8% (Fearless 4 -> Composer 9, Thief 2 -> Elegant 5)

+28% more Crit, for 169.9% total with a Claymore.

Toss in Trans Crit Roll and I'm sitting at 197.9% Crit.

I have 120~130% crit with my max damage set... Now just go from there and dedicate every single enchant slot to critical with (steel needle, round, burning, elegant, composer, dignified, white horse, quickness, lizard, polished, earnest, etc.) as well as a Wing Bow or another weapon with high critical and you're well above 170%.

The reason you don't see anyone with critical over 130% it's because it's an excellent compromise between max damage and critical in term of enchant and weapon selection... and you won't usually need more than that unless you plan to spam Peaca and Alby Adv HM/Rundal Adv HM.

My current set gives me 121% and with the new xbow's coming out which can reach 71-73% crit with Lizard Caliburn and with Crossbowy Mastery I'll be able to hit 151% crit. Then when I get Vast Elegant/Dignified gloves it will increase even higher.
