I'm committed to RA; but how?

  Speaking of that, get life drain to at least r9, Life drain is probably the cheapest alchemy attack there is, it can save your butt while doing beast damage that bypasses any sort of passive defenses. I don't know why people want golem nefed and not this. Its very useful on monsters like Red/Blue ghosts in Peaca.

  In defense of the OP, the actual name of the clothing is "Royal Alchemist Robe" it can be pretty easy to make that mistake I think.

  Correction: AM MUST be B, or you cannot apply.
  
  Other things:
  
  Finish all the Alchemist (G9-12) mainstreams. If you haven't, odds are you won't get in.
  
  Get at least 1K journal points.
  
  Have at least 3 r5+ Alch skills, and try to get as many in the numbers as possible. It's total skill ranks here, so quantity > quality.

  Life Drain has nowhere near the sheer destructive potential of golems. It's not of much use unless you trans mill with it, and in any case is single-target, does not prevent them from attacking you, requires you to be within range, can be walked out of, and deals only around 1.5K damage. Golems can do 3K normal windmills in a massive area when maxed out.

  Apparently you decided not to take in part I was talking about monsters like Ghosts in peaca.
  
  r1 Life Drain does 1.3k on a Red ghost
  
  r1 Golem does about 500-600

  Wish I knew that when I helped my bf with his generation peaca D8 I didn't think life drain would work. xD Spent like 30 minutes using golems cause I is elf with bad wm. >:C

  The problem with that is, Not a whole lot of people think to rank Life Drain. Generally i find only melee people use this effectively.
  Its also AP Intensive, meaning more then 300 AP. Though Technically, it only takes 600-800 Crystals to go from Rank F-1.
  
  Lifedrain is also full of openings honestly. Though i do plan to rank this soon, to be more useful in these sorts of missions.

  I know that. However, consider that a single golem can;
  
  1 - Pummel multiple ghosts at once, thereby exceeding 1.3K overall per attack
  2 - Have many, many uses per crystal, making it significantly more efficient
  3 - Does not require the user to put their life at risk by first draining their own health, allowing them to remain perfectly safe.
  
  Life Drain is more powerful against very select enemies, but much less efficient and viable. It is a good attack, but not the best to rely on for purely offensive purposes in comparison to golems.

  Life Drain is excellent for enemies that deal high damage.
  Example - Gold Mask Ghost (shining karu).
  My advice for RA is to raise only the alchemy skills you truly love. No point doing skills that you know you will not use much (e.g. Mana crystallization - I don't even use this because I haven't gone into magic far enough yet.)
