Music Changes

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Well I don't exactly know where l should put this so I'm going to post it here for now and see if anything happens. Well I've always left my music off on mabi whenever I play because frankly after hearing it for so long they bore me to death :T_T:
Now I know some people are able to change the music within the mabi music cilent (or which ever name you guys call it) and I'm wondering how exactly do you do that? Also does anyone have any suggestions for background music for the game? I love vocaloid and final fantasy music but other than that my knowledge about music is.... incomplete :fail:
I've tried searching the forums beforehand but...well what exactly should I search? :what:

All you do is change the music files in your Mabinogi folder. There's a guide for it somewhere around here...

Don't know where to find the guide for it, but it's basically:

1. Locate the file you want to replace, and copy the name.
2. Locate the file you want to replace the original with, change it's name to the original's.
3. Copy/paste replacement into your mp3 folder located in your Mabinogi folder.

But in my opinion, wouldn't just having WMP or some other music player play in the background while you play? That way you're not restricted to one song while you're in an area. Trust me, after a while, you'll get tired of the song you used for a replacement when it's one of the few songs you actually listen to in game.

Also I get what you mean by getting bored of the songs but...well it takes me awhile to tire of them. :thumb:
