As many you fellow Nation members recall. I had quite a fit over the coming of Shakespeare to mabi. Well after playing through it I must come clean.
I thouroughly enjoyed it! Every bit of it I loved. The voices, the dialogue, the way I was actually involved in the action.
The only problem I can say I had is this...
The dialogue moved too dang fast too read it! But, I'll upload my vids up to youtube where we can abuse the heck out of the pause button to remedy that issue. Some text won't appear at all though as the box appeared and then disappeared faster than I could actually see what in heck it said.
I didn't catch all of what Morrighan was saying at the end :gloom:
Anyways I have to say, this was a nice change of pace and I really look forward to the next Shakespeare play so that we may protect him from that terrible Goddess Morrighan.
Just thought I'd give this little shout out. Anyways, what did you guys think of the Shakespeare Mainstream?

Was expecting something harder. Not that I'm complaining with my new Personas though.

Well, i find the storyline an interesting change. The new cut scenes and voice acting was a big plus.
Sadly, this generation made beginner and intermediate mages (like me) a lot less efficient.
1. The new int formula relies on a lot of int to do significant magic damage. (better for higher lv players, for me, I needa collect money to buy composing/music theory books)
2. All the extra masteries further increased ap usage. Magic skills already took 400ap+, now we have 5 different masteries to do...
3. Advanced magic got a 20% decrease in damage. With no ap and a handful of skills to rank, my thunder damage is pathetic now.
4. and of course, rafting reward change is being removed soon...
meh :[

If we here are getting dialogues like the other generations, it probably means that I can catch words better, since reading is easier than listening.
Sounds like Morrighan is now the antagonist. I'm looking forward to it!
Beginner and intermediate mages, felt they were too powerful before G13. Many of them don't even do lifeskilling, and they easily get away with it. These are the people who will suffer the most. Tip: Got to work to make it worth the effort just like everyone else from other classes.

I kind of wish the dialogues were spoken. They just go too fast to even have a chance to read them.
Plus, I'd love to hear someone do a voiceover for Morrighan. That would delight me ever so.

Hm... i did work hard to gather those thunder/ice spear pages, and i still work hard to make mana potions.
That overpowered advanced magic truly only lasts half an hour with a supply of mp potions.
Even as a mage, i've meleed 90% through my mabinogi life. Now that that 10% of magic usage is severed lowered in damage, it really disappoints me...

I just skipped through all the cut-scenes, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Well to remedy that, I am uploading the videos up to youtube so you can pause at your leasure and actually soak it in >.>
So far I got the first couple scenes of Act I up. I botched up in my organization though so I uploaded Part 1 and Part 1.5 which had a bunch of missing inbetween stuff >.<
I would upload the dubbed clips but my fraps butchered the audio so I'm not going to bother.
