I Believe all channels do not work. Or at least just Channel 2 and 4. That's two too many so I didn't bother checking anymore.

It's NOT propdb.xml. I had the same problem myself, but it mysteriously vanished after a good number of hours, and without me doing anything to my client either. God only knows what it was.
Also, it wasn't a HackShield detection, it was an instant client crash -- Windows error "client.exe has stopped working". Definitely not mod-related.
