If I were as good a hacker as.....What? That Julian Assange guy I'd hack him back, notify Nexon and....well.....Idk after that. I'd play a different game though. Sedia's the name Professor Layton's my game~ I'd give him 3 seconds to comply and then if he got the answer wrong for the riddle, I'd hack him.
Just an idea. I was reading through and just felt mighty. Please don't flame cuz I liek games.....BUT I DUNNOT LIKE DIS GAME ATALL!
/End heroic speech.

You should try scanning your computer, you might have a virus on it. If it isn't that, maybe the hacker is someone you know? To tell the truth, I doubt there's someone smart enough to actually "hack" someone else without using keyloggers, or knowing some information on that person.
But yeah, it reminds me of something.....like Meikeru said, the Liar Game o-o
I scanned my computer the day I found out I got hacked. Nothing was found. The only people I really talk to on Mabinogi are the friends in those screenies and my boyfriend. So I don't think it's someone I know. :/

Normally, we don't allow names on here, but since this is hacking, not just trolling or spam, and items were stolen, I think it'd be best to leave it up as a warning to any other potential victims ._.
And yeah, that is seriously sick.

It really does sounds like someone that knows you pretty well, and wanted to hack you. Yea, getting hacked is very unfortunate in any MMORPG. At least you go a few items back. Although, that don't matter when you lost your sense of security for that account.

I started playing Mabinogi again a few weeks ago after a very long break and the only people I talk to often on here is the people who were contacted by the hacker. But yeah... I feel paranoid about being hacked again everyday now. I really don't understand why Nexon doesn't let you change your e-mail...

Reminds me of "Saw"...
A new type of hacker has been born, beware.
Do not be trapped in its twisted little games! Be strong!

Well, if the hacker is contacting those people, that hacker probably knows those people, which in turn, knows you as well.
Nexon doesn't let you change your e-mail easily because if a hacker changed the email, that hacker will forever have all the information/password. The account will belong to the hacker forever. Basically, they don't let you change it for security reasons.

I'm going through a long process with Nexon right now to try and get my e-mail changed (They make you fill out a form and then you have to wait 2-7 days and fill out another form). I heard that if a hacker knows your ID and your e-mail, it makes it a lot easier for them to hack you. And I'm guessing this hacker also knows my e-mail because my password retrievals were exceeded that day, yet there were no password reset e-mails from Nexon on my e-mail account. But when I requested for a password reset the next day, I got the e-mail.

Ouch, I'm sorry that happened to you. Did you try reporting him? As if that would help though since Nexon's full of lazy butts who don't do anything. :<

I think it's a lost cause to send in a ticket. I know a handful of friends who got hacked, but Nexon never helped them no matter how many tickets they sent in.

If I was on Tarlach, I'd offer to make the person's life a living hell.. but alas, I can't. It's a pity you can't transfer all your stuff to another account.

He could've log onto your e-mail account and deleted them... Basically, if he/she hacked your e-mail account and knows your birthday (which you might entered in your e-mail info), he can use the info to retrieve the nexon ID, and then use it to retrieve your password...
