  There are many news who sneak their bias into the articles and cleverly use it to rouse their viewer's emotions.
  
  And then there are these guys. They're not even trying to hide it. Every other sentence is a bland and obvious attempt at victimizing something, or criminalizing a well known person/organization.
  
  If I took my AP english courses right, almost all these articles are written with focus and intent on slandering a certain group or person. The stories themselves are tools to do so. Some of these would make good exam excerpts. I can imagine the questions now.

  You base that opinion on the homepage that you happened to see. Yes, I admit that this particular homepage is incredibly negative (keep in mind that negative is not always bad). However, most of the time, I see a good deal of positive/neutral articles. Tell me, if the mass poisoning of birds that may or may not be invasive/disruptive is not a holocaust, then what is it? Definition of holocaust: The annihilation or near-annihilation of a group of animals or people, whether by natural or deliberate agency.

  I do not remember reading that particular article, but most fast food is so unhealthy that I would not be surprised if it contributed to alzheimer's. I like your straw-man arguments. They really are built up so eloquently and so easy to knock down at the same time! Much like a swan flying above a field of potatoes in a sea of jelly. But I digress.

  i believe what they choose to publish the best way to determine how biased they are, and I think its more important when judging a media source. (Take Fox for example, and compare it to BBC).
  i don't think positive/neutral/negative have as much weight unless they're leading you on to how you're supposed to react to it.
