So, as much as I love Ruairi and my Elf, I want to return to Alexina and my Giant. ;_;
Or at the very least, return to a Giant.
For my weapon, I still have the weapon equivalent of Eiry, the giant mallet?
Anyways, i'm looking for a weapon that may potentially serve as a good ego and an all-around great weapon. I'm assuming i'm going for a mace-type weapon.
My second question, is which mastery to rank? Granted, if you can help answer my first question, this one answers itself. :')
Thanks! ~

Well, since blunts are giant's main weapons, it is a good idea to rank blunt mastery...
The best damage ego for giant is Iron Mace. It is more than 200+ max damage when level 50 stats.

The best ego a Giant can have is an Iron Mace ego, since those are one of the few egos that can still keep up with the new upgrades and enchants (and the two handed egos). It's versatile, so you can either dual-wield it for when you need DPS, or with a shield if you need to tank. Two Handed Swords/Dustin Silver Knight Swords/etc. egos are practically obsolete with the new weapons, and likewise with the two handed blunts/axes.
As for Mastery, after Combat Mastery, you'd want to go with Blunt Mastery. Blunt Mastery boosts both your blunt weapon's max damage by 30, as well as giving you 19 Str, meaning another 7 max damage. Reason I say CM before BM is that CM gives you 38 Max Damage and 18% Balance to all attacks, where as BM only gives you 37 Max Damage to a small number of weapons. But regardless, CM -> BM is the better choice for Giants. After BM, it's your choice as to learn real skills to use your extra 75 damage with them, or continue to master weapons, in which chance, Sword Mastery would probably be better, since it gives you just a little less than 5% Balance, where as Axe Mastery only gives you 1.9% Critical. That is unless you have an upgraded and enchanted Broad Axe, in which case, it's probably wiser to rank AM before SM, just to take advantage of Full Swinging with the Broad Axe.

*drool* Arsik, you're always a wealth of information.
So far, I only have rF CM and r9 WM, the rest of my skills are at Novice or F. :> Good thing I rebirth tomorrow.
