  As they are killing the spiders and not minding you at all, just pick up their gems and go to Tara and give to the birds. Better than hitting trash cans and poles all day...I think.

  When I was a newbie, and bots infested gray fox area, I actually colelcted green gems from the bots long enough to upgrade them at the grocery store all the way to silver gems, then turn in silver gems for exp/gold.
  
  Complete waste of time, by the way.
  
  On the other hand, green gems can get your incredibly mad ego back to the point where it will actually gain exp from anything you feed it.

  I think they're around 600k or so I've seen in Personal shops. But you'd probably get discouraged pretty easily if you didn't get them after so many gems though. Making a profit off these, if you're...Diligent enough to.
  
  I wouldn't rely on these for profit though, because it is a rare item obtained from them, not a common one. Which is why you have to get as much gems stuffed in as possible for more of a chance.

  Green gems seem like too much of a hassle D: since pet instructor sticks are only 10g and can get your ego back to feeding stages quickly.
  
  Although I didn't know green gems were good for that @_@
  
  I heard the pattern from the birds is pretty rare > <..that's a lot of gems lol
