  It's a fun raid. I really love how they added in the little hunched over mocking laugh. When I first had access to it, I ran it duo with my friend who plays a Fiona and he just spent the entire time freaking out in Heavy Stander. Then the Blood Lord just zips in behind him and starts laughing, and he just freaked out completely.
  
  Unfortunately, I absolutely hate all the Palala spam going on. Which is all anybody does, it seems. I understand that people want to farm his mats, but at least learn the god dang boss first. It's so painfully obvious that a lot of people who have already gone to lolpalalaland still have absolutely no idea how to dodge any of his attacks or deal with him in general aside from "hit him when he's blind". I try to join as many "no secondary" boats as I can, and I still see a lot of close wipes and run out of feathers. Heck, there are even Palala spamming boats where he's down probably around 70% in a couple of minutes and he's hardly had a chance to attack when suddenly, nobody has any Palala bombs left and suddenly people start dropping. afkalmighty said Palalas become pretty useless later on, I hope he's right.
  
  He isn't all that hard solo. You can dodge pretty much everything by just walking counter clockwise to him. Once you realize that, it's pretty easy to get in hits since he's a lot easier to control solo. The only problem is that at the moment we individually do pretty crap damage to him, so it takes a long time. At least too long for my tastes, which is weird since I was the kind of guy who'd spend 40 minutes soloing Alatreon or something in Monster Hunter over and over.

  I haven't soloed anything since Boat 2. I might be able to solo most of the battles, but I'm 99% sure I can't solo any of the raids. (Staff Evie and I lack l33tness)

  Hello, i absolutly agree with this, the palala method is only a way to speed it up, not THE WAY to kill BL. If you cant handle the boss w/o palalas then learn.
  Sometimes the party will run out of palalas and if your not able to handle a BL with low hp then.. you just wasted everybody's time. Soloing isnt that hard, you just need to pay atention for a while and follow simple tips to get it figured out. Multiple people getting BL attention its what makes it more complicated, but still doable.
  
  And all of this is why i wrote that guide after giving it time to get into my head all the patterns. Remember that shorcuts are only shortcuts when you know the way. If you dont, theyre meaningless

  it should. sometimes it doesn't show it graphically but the hitbox is still following you.
