ego cylinder?

  Will there ever b ego cylinders?
  
  Im a full alchemist, and id think an ego cylinder would make me 2x more stronger but will i ever c the day?

  However, S/R upgraded Cylinder would probably be stronger than Ego Cylinders by then.

  i dont think upgraded cylinder will i have a 5/5 stiff moist water drop cylinder and its not all thet upgrades on cylinders are over rated unless u upgrade clay then some what of a difference on barrier spikes

  As of G14 there are not, and I can't say it looks promising that there will be. Alchemy is a "science" and as such, cylinders are mere tools. Whereas other classes use them as weapons, not tools. If that makes sense :) But never know, nexon has surprised us before

  Yeah, S/R upgraded cylinders (like the new ones that came out) are pretty nice. If you want something powerful, check out one of those

  an ego cylinde rprobably wouldn't make you 2x stronger. The closest thing to cylinders in game for their uses are wands, and you see how much of a joke wand egos are? Yeah. Don't expect anything useful out of a cylinder ego... unless you like having a glowing elbow or wrist while you fight.

  Oh I dunno. Increased balance for alchemy, increased chain cylinder(?), base damage that might cause a WM to hurt something more than it hurts you-- I could see it working out.

  Yeah.. I can't imagine us every getting Ego Cylinders. Most Egos are already outranked by all the upgrades available to non-ego weapons, plus it's just so tedious..
  so unless KR Mabinogi developers do it for the heck of it, don't expect it anytime soon. :P

  "working out" and the things you describe (unless they were ridiculously overpowered) do not equal x200% stronger alchemy/character.
  
  In fact, if an ego cylinder -did- come out, and it -was- powerful enough to double your alchemy power, it would be broken, and far more powerful than any bow or melee ego. Alchemy is already considered pretty strong as is by many... could you imagine the golems created with an ego cylinder if it doubled their strength? Or flame burst? How about something being frozen by frozen blast for minutes at a time?

  This. In the use of magic, melee, and range, your weapon is an extension of you. The bond between owner and weapon is essential for the well-being of both.
  
  By contrast, in Alchemy, all that matters is maintenance. The cylinder is merely a tool, a catalyst through which greater things take place. An Alchemist does not grow with his weapons, merely in knowledge. By consequence, while the cylinders can be improved through research and implementation, there is never room for a spirit bond with one, as they would not grow in power from a bond, only through technology.
  
  All in all, Alchemists are somewhat different from other warriors. They can be powerful and extremely diverse in their offensive and defensive tactics, but at the price, in a way, of the soul of combat. They are removed and unfeeling, cool and calculating. Making an intellectual decision where a mage, an archer or a swordsman would make an emotional one. Building, maintaining and replacing tools, rather than growing to know, bond with and care for a single weapon.
