There are a few things I think should be added to make this game more epic monsters harder and make classes more wanted in runs and such.
The only class so far that I think should get something is Evie (Staff) because that is the one I have.
1) Evie should have debuffing runes. Runes that basically have a percentage or chance to put a negative effect on a monster/ boss like; poison, dispell, de-shell, etc.
2) Monsters should have skills that de-buff us also like poison, etc. Then Evie should have a skill like esuna (a skill that removes all status ailments) or regen (we have an sp regeneration skill so that might not be needed)
Basically, these are just a few things that I think would make the game better in my oppinion. There could be a few more things but I cant think of them right now. What are your thoughts on my ideas and what do you have in mind that you think can change the game for the better? :2thumb:

Isn't that kinda taken by SE games?
But there's also have to be regular potion-like items for curing such negative status effects.
(though there's also some status effects already, just more along the lines of Str-down and such)

They are also many effects that function like poison, dealing damage over time. They really stink for Evies, because for the entire time the effect is in place (and a bit beyond), the magic shields will not return.

Really? sometimes i see the shields go back up again even in the "poison" effect.( it disappear immediately though =.=")

I'm referring to the effects like being on fire (all the fireball throwing vampires + Blood Lord) or shocked (by the new vampire boss). Any magic shield you still have with the effect in place will be removed one by one, at which point it will attack the HP. Of course, the effect doesn't prevent the shields from literally returning, but then (as you also mention) they immediately disappear, leaving you unprotected during the effect's span. That's what I originally meant.

There is also an effect from the frogs on boat 4 which I believe even said something like "poison" in the description somewhere. It's been a long time since I've been afflicted with it though, so my memory is foggy.
