Theatre Mission VS Their Method

And quite frankly, unless you're making 500k every time you step into a theatre mission, I'd appreciate it if your examples didn't just go "My number's bigger" without establishing context, kthx. Say what you will about the revenue (which is still quite nice), but xp-wise Their Method is still reigning supreme. Because sustained xp per hour >>>>>> superficial big numbers.

  I buy my Gold Pages at less than 1k each. So my shearing time is 0 seconds. Weaving time is maybe 1-2 minutes per hour at most, which is comparable to the time spent running to the Mission Board in Tara.
  
  And if you read my post clearly, I was saying that Their Method is also a viable source of income, so I don't see what you're complaining about.
  
  
  The reason I don't like Their Method, is because it isn't really great at anything. The only thing good about it, is that it is very easy because of how slow zombies are. Meanwhile, with 60% Protection, they are the hardest mob to kill (in terms of damage/hp) out of any solo/small party Shadow/Theater Mission, being the only thing that I can't knock below 80% HP with a single Critical Windmill, and also being immune to Range, Magic, and Alchemy.
  
  There's a reason that overseas people are showing off their 3 minute SCC runs, because it is the best thing to do in terms of exp and gold, without as much effort as something like soloing Shadow Wizard.
  
  There's easy, and then there's efficient. People who run Their Method are drawn in to the easy, they don't want to put in the extra effort to run the efficient things. In the small time I had after 6 hours of classes today, I found both a Trinity Staff and a Glory Sword, so these drops aren't that rare.

  KQ is for people who want a change and some extra money making.
  Personally, I ran at least 6 KQ runs with only gem drops at the end chest. Guardian of Avon is rather difficult to solo, and Fortinbra is just hell.
  if running KQ, I recommend a Fire-enchanted set for the spiders and a CC +4 Firewand and MP 100s for the trolls. I can run the mission in ~10-15 minutes, and with my mana reduction set (Fire enchanted), I don't use as many MP100s.

  Considering "Their Method" shadow mission came out in g10, and the prices for those enchants still hasn't dropped considerably, I don't see them becoming worthless due to over-farming. If they do managed to go down in price, all the better for those of us actually wanting the enchant too. Oh well.

  Also, it takes me longer to solo Their Method HM than it does for King's Request HM (not counting shearing). But SCC still wins in terms of exp, with a fair amount of gold drops to boot.

  
  
  I prefer scc over tm also. Being a mage makes that a bit obvious though. With Leap attack, the 1k total melee alt I have been playing this last week due to nexon's fail character lockout glitch, scc is still proving ot be more efficient than tm.
  
  Aside from the protection/pd's issue you mention, tm also involves some (albiet not particularly hard) searching for your zombie spawns. scc there is no deviation in the spawn locations.

  I prefer Kings Request because i can use what i use best there. Their Method may be good for some, but doing it in an efficient time means you'd have to get a good damage set, aswell as good melee weapons.

  What DO you use in KQ? o3o CC r1 Firebolt? That or full fire melee set for me (not on Scene two since trolls multiaggro)
  In all honesty, since windmill ignores protection, you don't need to have GREAT damage in Their Method; having ~250 damage not crit each time on Hardmode is easy enough

  Im a Fire Alchemist, so Flame Burst/Heatbuster with all the nessecary masteries at r1.
  Cressida set, Volcano etc.
  I run with a giant friend who mobs the spiders and aggros all the rolls into one general area while i hit them.
