Duel wielding melee tactics?

  okay so I've been working on my new human in ruairi and because its super nub it takes a while to kill things that would be ranked weak to you.
  and I been using the same tactic but it doesn't ALWAYS work
  
  Smash > counter > defense > attack with duel wielding swords until knock back > defense > and attacking until it defeated or knock back and if its not dead repeat defense and knocking back
  
  any others that will be quicker/safer? D:

  Giants are so much easier...Smash, and if it's still alive, load Defense.

  Do they have to be melee only? If not, open with a smash, use counter, and go into fire ice counter until dead. With mana deflector, try either wm spam or what you're already doing. If it has mana deflector and melee deflector... wm spam again? XD

  I perfer single blunt wield because more combo options with charge. If you really want, you can alternate between sheilds and dual weilding so you can squeeze in charge...
  
  With dual weild, I think people rely on wm to much on it... Really eats your hp.
  
  I suggest using dual weild anytime you have the oppurtunity to actually use the full normal hit combo.

  Smash > WM > Def > N+1+WM is what I normally do. Haven't gotten Assault Slash yet so I haven't been able to play with it.

  with that combo you could, smash > Assault > Wm > Def > N+1+Wm > Assault slash and if they're still not dead you could probably pull off some magic or def combo again xD

  i wish that would work for me ._. they get free smacks if i try another smash and they're not at the wall.

  Try smash -> wm -> assault slash -> smash -> wm then.
  
  I usually use assault slash right after wm and the enemy usually bounces in place so there is no difference if against wall or not.
  
  Edit: Oh and if enemy does not bounce in place I just use wm instead.

  Smash->Bolt->WM->Assault Slash->ETC
  
  pretty much what i always do.. and keep in mind.. if you are going to dual wield.. USE WM.. take advantage of the damage.. thats your defense and counter attack at the same time.. learn to love WM and the deadly status.. WM is hax.. period.. :D

  Still alive after smash? Blasphemy.
  
  Smash>Assault Slash>Smash will kill pretty much everything I need to kill.

  well i can bearly get the skill to work on bears...they have a full knock down bar but skill dosn't work
