Formula help

I averaging 118 damage using Firebolt against Young Brown-Tailed Mongooses. I'm using a fully upgraded Crystal Lightning wand (-35% magic damage). It's overupgraded with blue stones as well (+9 magic damage). My magic attack is 27.

Firebolt's base damage is 120... how do these stats produce 118's?

With 34 magic attack (Claudius persona) my highest is 125.

with 49 magic attack (Claudius persona+trans) my highest is 139.

It doesn't seem like magic attack compounds with bolt magic base damage...

Can you come up with a formula?

120 * 1.27 * (1 - .35 +.9 +.1) = 120 * 1.27 * .75 = 114

120 * 1.34 * (1 - .35 +.9 +.1) = 120 * 1.34 * .75 = 121

120 * 1.49 * (1 - .35 +.9 +.1) = 120 * 1.49 * .75 = 134

These are the wiki's formulas. Magic Attack is it's own multiplier, while all other boosts are added into a second multiplier. Supposedly Magic Mastery also adds damage. Based on the calculated totals and your actual numbers, you'd have somewhere around 5 ranks in Magic Mastery and Bolt Mastery.

Nope. That's why I hit less than 120 with 34 magic attack using the upgraded wand xD
