  My cousin it slouching around
  she makes her parents take care of her 3 month old baby
  and the father left because Melissa was ill and so he was forced to take care of the baby nonstop for over two weeks, he couldn't take the pressures of parenthood and took off.
  shes 18, doesnt have a job hasnt finished school
  I wrote this directing it to her even though I'll never show her it.

  Is it just me or do my opinions not matter to you?
  I tell you "you're beautiful", oh so now I'm lying too?
  when I compliment you, you ignore me
  yet I listen to your story
  and right about now it's starting to bore me.
  time after time
  big cousin, please know that you are always mine
  and if you reject my love, well then that's fine.
  I just wish you would listen more often than you do
  the advice I give you,
  I'm just trying to help out
  I don't like hearing you pout
  you're a big girl now,
  18..? wow.
  but I don't want you sitting on your ass being a cow
  you have a little girl now
  she needs you more than ever
  her daddy left you while you were under the weather
  that's not fair is it?
  well life's not fair
  he didn't even care
  but you suck it up and bare it
  remember when we were small?
  how they teased you for being tall
  well you're an adult now so you can scream "F*CK THEM ALL"
  you don't have to complain on how life's treated you bad
  you're forgetting that baby again, and that's sad
  now instead of getting mad, you have to be mom and dad
  stop sucking your thumb
  and get your schooling done
  I highly doubt you would want your child to grow up watching you become a bum.
  You're mad at me for this?
  I don't wanna hear you diss..
  I don't think I even deserve this..
  No matter how hard I try
  to listen to your crys
  you cover up your lies
  and now I'll have to say goodbye
  when you decide to stop trying to save your youth
  and I'll come back when you start telling the truth

  It doesn't fail, especially if it helps you to vent. Never good to let emotions build up. Hope that things get better.

  That fact aside.. never be afraid to vent. I used to write poems all the time to vent my emotions. Bottling them up is never a good thing, and you know we're here for you.
