I think the wiki's Gladius upgrade table might be off, I talked to someone not too long ago who said the Artisan upgrade wasn't at Ranald. I hope you get it figured out.

Gladius is NOT supposed to be Artisan'd for its potential. It's not one of the artisan candidates in general, regular upgrades are better off.

I know it's a ****ty upgrade, and in fact that's probably WHY the table is inaccurate, but someone asked me for help finding that upgrade so
because it was relevant to this person's question I brought it up.
Please don't jump to conclusions.

I have nothing to do with the artisan upgrades, I'm trying to do a normal upgrade path, but its not letting me do it because its showing up as ??? even though I meet the said requirements? :/

As I said, either you are doing something wrong, or your information is wrong (the wiki).
You have a 2/5 Gladius with at least 35 proficiency, and you have at least 6000 gold. You are using Edern's upgrade dialog, selecting that sword, and the upgrade does not show? You can identify it more reliably by the required prof and gold, because the name isn't always consistent.
If all of the above is true, you're not doing anything wrong and the wiki is inaccurate; check with other blacksmiths like Elen, Nerys, Nicca, etc.

Do you remember the upgrades you have done for the Gladius on the first 2/5 upgrades? Because sometimes you can scroll down and see other upgrades as well, and some names in-game are different from the MabinogiWorld's upgrade names.
For instance though, which upgrade path did you try to do on the Gladius?

I just artisaned my Glory Sword and got 23 strength, -28 Dex (doesn't affect my balance at all) and 42 Luck. Should I reroll?

The strength seems pretty close, but it's really up to you whether you want that extra Luck. If it were me, I wouldn't be satisfied with that until I get around 5 points or so away from the maximum there is. 42 for the Luck is kind of far from 70, in my opinion, if you need the crit addition. Otherwise, for pure max damage, then the Str roll seems pretty good.

Glory Swords are made for criticals so I would probably re-roll.

No. Unless you are decent in other skills (Meaning you are either a warrior or range) there is no reason to first start on Blaze.
Do refer to the guides around Mabination if you do plan on becoming a mage =)
