Ever since the 26th of December last year; i have been getting weird and abnormal spikes in lag, and this isn't mabi that's lagging, its spikes that lag my internet down to where it doesn't load usual pages instantly, and to where i skill lag and position lag in Mabi. Times are ussually random and these spikes last anywhere from 30minutes to a few hours. Wish i could say several hour spikes. Which pisses me off since my computer never lagged like this till that day, ever since its been like this.
So i have done a few suggestions from friends; Some go from Scanning and Defragging the Computer. To ipconfig /flushdns. Aswell as switching the DNS cords around and restarting the router and letting it cool for a day. Which does little to nothing at all. Right now, the last thing i want to do is Call the ISP to see whats up, because i want to prove its not my end.
I used Speedtest.net to determine my speeds. Days where im ussually fine;
251MB/s Download
0.57MB/s Upload
Ping 31-40
When i lag; ping 670-1000+
Download 0.20
Upload 0.10
I tried looking at a Registry Booster; but unfortunatly all of the ones i see are all 'OH YOU WANT THEM FIXED? PAY US' Which is bull**** when it says its free.
Uniblue RegistryBooster2010 or somthing states that that 2 of the three catagories are HIGH risk. Which makes no sense. I cant really fix those...
So is there any other ideas before i need to call my ISP?

Try doing a System Restore of before you had that issue pop up.
Perhaps you have Bagle disabled, or use MTU to decrease lag ? If so, delete MTU from your registry if you have it in there. Nagle shouldn't affect anything else except your download speed, is all I know of.

I am De-nagled and last time i touched MTU, i crashed at red dragon every time i went on. So my MTU should be default 1500.

Bagle.
Why would you disable bagle.
:c
Anyways, if you have AT&T, this is normal.
Seriously.

I never lagged like this before until it started happening late last year. This isnt normal. I use Bell/Sympatico w/e. I was perfectly fine for like 4 years.
This shouldn't be happening.
So system restore i guess?

Oh.
Yes, try that.
But it could also be that someone is stealing your internet.
My friend was doing fine till one day, his internet just plummeted. He called his ISP and found out there were other computers linked to his internet and using it.

You should probably call your ISP honestly, that's like the only thing you haven't done.
