A kiosk is something of a hybrid between personal shops and housing.
You get a kiosk kit and set it up like a personal shop. but you have to do it against the north or south wall of dunbarton. Once set up, it is visible in all channels (one major difference from personal shops so far).
Once your kiosk is set up, and items are listed in it, people can search and find your items via the "board" (previously referred to as housing board. dunno what it is called now). There is a tab for searching housing like you were able to do before, but now there is also a similar search functionality on the kiosk tab. When searching kiosk tab, items displayed have a "purchase" button instead of a "recieve flier" button. Purchases made from this search do not reansport you or anything, you just buy from the board as if you were standing at the kiosk. you can even preview item like you were standing at a player shop or in someone's house before you buy.

Oh so it's available for all channels. I thought it must be set up at chann 1 at all costs. In which case I think it's quite ok for me to set it up at chann 7.
Assuming that they bring this here today. I probably won't need housing anymore after that.

Quote from Iyasenu;304446:
Don't you need extra storage service to use a Kiosk in the first place? D:
Who can run out of space, then!?
(needs more alts if you're out of space, ohoho)
I have 30 pets, a house, 4 characters total, and extra storage. And I still run out of space.
But I also play fashinogi hardcore.

Another tip: I can 100% confirm that yes, characters on the Free Beginner Service CAN use kiosks. This is a godsend for mules who sell items this way as they can't use housing. (Now that I said that, possibly expect Dunbarton's walls to be full of mule kiosks. :pika_sweat:)

I haven't seen a lot of them so far, though, and they aren't catching on as quickly as I thought they would...
Maybe they're still too young.
