They enhance those skills of course!
But on a serious note. I believe its success rate plus. So it's no good if you want to fail it xD

+10% to Blacksmithing/Refining
I would guess the Fishing increases the rate of fishing in Automatic :what:

It's not +10% to smithing. Either it does nothing or it helps with quality of finish. Either way, I'm still not seeing what the effect that patron has. :/

Yes it is.

You shouldn't ask a question, and when someone(who is right at that) tells you something, and you tell them they are wrong. How can you tell them they are wrong if you aren't even sure yourself?
Why would it do nothing?
EDIT: Sorry about the comment. Not towards OP. o -o

I have the set and have tested it. The percent looks EXACTLY the same. I'm pretty sure my eyes aren't tricking me/I'm hallucinating. And yes my set has 10 points to blacksmith.
EDIT: For you non-believers

A guildmate of mine asked someone who is r1 blacksmith about it, and he did get 10% boost (first pic had had 86% success rate and second one had 96%).
I'm guessing that it might be a glitch on your set, or perhaps there's something else to it... like changing channels, or equipping a piece before smithing or maybe just some random Nexon screw-up in a different server?

I can confirm it's +10% success rate for the patron set, as I own one.
Also, you'd have to close/reopen the broadsword thing after equiping the set for it to show the bonus.

Odd, I'm r9 smithing as well, and I do get 96% success rate on broadswords with the patron set. 86% with it off.

:( Hopefully it's giving me 96% even though it doesn't say that. :(

I think you're right for this case. It's like putting on a CP armor right away with a monster infront of you, the monster's level when you presss control wont change for me unless I CC. Might apply to this guy if he put on his armor right away to see the differences. Should try changing channels with set on to see the difference.

Anyone knows if it really does affect the success rate?
I have a set and it does show the +10% effect on the window. However there are some rumours going on that the window shows the added percentage but does not affect the true success rates.

No way to test "true success rate." This is mabi.
