I use my Rock Band and it sounds good cost no more than 20 dollars.
But now that I think about it I rather have a headset since I hate holding the mic but most around the 20$ price ranger aren't that good.

Do you have a budget? I suggest a headset over a standalone mic (Unless that's what you already had in mind). If you've got a fair amount to spend, I suggest the Razer Carcharias. It's what I use, and it's terribly comfortable. Also need to know whether or not you're looking for something that plugs into jacks or uses a USB port.

This seems decent enough for a cheaper headset.

Yeah the one Dev mentioned is ~$80. Razer stuff is pretty good since my friend swears by it, and his opinion usually has some basis since he'd be a professional gamer if he wasn't in college.

IMO, I get all mine from Walmart/Target/etc for under $30.
I'd recommend one that uses a USB port unless you want to spend an hour googling why the sh*t your's isn't working, lulz.
You don't even need one more than $25-ish to get a good output quality. A headset is godly.
