Do you have a budget? I suggest a headset over a standalone mic (Unless that's what you already had in mind). If you've got a fair amount to spend, I suggest the Razer Carcharias. It's what I use, and it's terribly comfortable. Also need to know whether or not you're looking for something that plugs into jacks or uses a USB port.
This seems decent enough for a cheaper headset.
