The PSP2 will be named NGP, "Next Generation Portable".
Its got dual analog sticks, two cameras (one of each side), and a touch screen on BOTH sides of the device.

The device has built in wifi and 3G. It can constantly stay connected, with GPS, can use location based applications.
Theres talks of the device being able to use Android Apps.
The NGP has been confirmed to have the power to play playstation 3 games, such as Metal Gear Solid, Call of Duty, Uncharted, Lost Planet, and Yakuza.
The device has a battery life as long as the original PSP's.

The Games
Sony showcased a handful of games alongside the reveal of the new PSP, including new titles Little Deviants, Reality Fighters and Gravity Daze, plus games based on the following PlayStation franchises.

* Resistance
* LittleBigPlanet
* Hustle Kings
* Hot Shots Golf
Sony says the new PlayStation Portable will also play PSone games supported via its PlayStation Suite platform and will be backwards compatible with downloadable PSP games. To demonstrate this, Capcom's Jun Takeuchi demoed Monster Hunter Portable 3rd for the PSP on a NGP.
Third parties have shown demonstrations of Yakuza 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4 running on the system, with Activision announcing a Call of Duty for the new PSP.
Nintendo... you're in for some serious competition this round.

It's a big step up form the psp, let's just hope they can battle out past piracy problems they had with the psp..I went on game stop's website and the price tag was like, $999.99. Then I saw the price hasn't been determined yet thing, but if it's anywhere near that price. I'll just stick with the 3DS :D

It CAN be 3D.
Just need glasses unlike the 3DS.
I don't really get the hype with 3D. It really isn't that great.
