Almost happened with my old friend Ashley, except with a spatula, came flying at her.
They have lunch specials on the week days where its only 9 dollars a person.
xD Spatula isn't that bad.
As far as I know we don't have that, but we don't eat out often. We Brazilians like to cook our rice, every day, with delicious meats >:D
but now im craving habatchi D:

I usually get the steak and shrimp there, absolutely divine. The way I cook my rice is very simular to theirs, the taste anyway.
The steak and shrimp comes with fried rice, and zucini with onions.
The fun part is I always feel high after I eat there

We usually only go there for dinner.
I should treat my friends one of these days~~~
How do they make your rice? Do you get noodles at that place?

They make the rice with a few little mixed veggies in them, they put a little butter and salt and pepper and fry it with their special sause.
We don't usually get noodles, but its on the menu, along with other things.
But we do get this kind of clear broth that has mushrooms and stuff in it. Its quite good.

For steamed rice, I use a rice cooker.
Other kinds of rice has different ways of making them (And I'm also talking about cakes and desserts and whatnow).

I'm very picky, so I don't eat any of the stuff that's actually "good" for you like the broth. WE GET NOODLES 8D
If you haven't tried them you should.
They makes our practically the same, so I'm assuming the noodles are just as delicious!
Does anyone here make noodles themselves?

When I cook rice, I usually use white rice. What I do to make sure it's not super-sticky when I cook it, is I rinse the rice first, to get their rice milk(?) out. After the water becomes not-so-white, I just put the rice in a steam cooker, and out comes pretty decent, puffed rice.
I honestly did try to use something else besides water to cook it - chicken broth. I ended up putting too much, and the rice came out a bit too soggy and salty.
Fried rice is pretty easy to make regardless of rice. Oil is how some people do it, but I use oyster sauce for more flavor. >:3

I've never had a rice cake, what do those taste like? :what:
Depends what you mean by rice cake. As in mochi? Or those puffed rice cake thingies found in stores, meant to be 'healthy' for you?
Had mochi, it was "Om nom nom nom I'm going to get fat if I keep eating these but I can't~!" Puffed cakes are okay. They taste like popcorn before people drown it in butter or other stuff. Surprisingly, there are buttered popcorn flavored puffed cakes...
My family uses a rice cooker and jasmine rice. We also use white Japanese rice whenever we want a different texture and flavor every once in a while. We also sometimes use just a pot and water for rice when somebody has too much free time.
