- When repairing armor the display icon shows when it's done repairing on the top right. So does rolling out of anvil or armor repair kit the second its done on the display, repair it all the way like if it was left uninterrupted?
- Is there any point to repairing when a mission is over (after boss dead and score was shown)?
Besides title repairs of course o-o

As far as I know, the repair counts every time the you hit the anvil. So if you roll out of it it should still count.
And there's really no point in repairing after you finish cause it doesn't do anything extra for you.

You cannot roll out of a repair. None at all, save for the Fiona's SP:Shield Repair.
Full Condition armor takes 7 hits from broken -> Full Durability. Anything below will be below full durability. The display turns from Orange -> White at around 3 hits. Therefore, it will not be full if just by looking at the visual display.

Just to complicate things a little further, the exact number of hammer strikes to fully repair the armor (from completely broken) also depends on the maximum durability of the broken items (which is raised with each level of enhancement).
Likewise, the number of hits it takes to break armor is quite variable, and seems to be dependent on how hard the hits are. Bosses, for example, appear to excel in breaking armor with a single smash hit (though not always).

I believe the max is 7, lowest is 3. This depends on the current condition of the item.
My +5 Eagle Heart has 7 hits from broken -> Full, while when it is at 10 condition, it takes 3, and breaks much easier.

On the topic of cancelling:
While you can't roll out of the repairs (except for Fiona's Shield Repair), you can press your dodge button to end the hammering early.

Mostly used when you only need a single hit to bring it back from broken, and letting a campfire buff take the rest of the way.

FYI, I've had some stuff that was so beaten up (e.g. having a condition of 1), that only one hammer strike "fully" fixed it from a broken state. This happens a lot with my Bunny Ear Headband. So, I'd be reluctant to put any minimum or maximum number of strikes to fix things, though I suppose 1 is a safe bet for a minimum count.

If you have a campfire buff though, it repairs your armor over time. So if all your things are broken before you put the fire, no need to fully repair it on the anvil. One hit then get the buff. Same if you still manage to break something while you have the buff, just use the kit then roll, will fix over time after that.

Can't use a kit and roll out of it.

If you have a campfire buff yes. It will get fixed over time after that. Sure it's kinda rare that you break something with that buff, but still. The first hit always makes armor go from red to orange. Then the buff fixes the rest.
Maybe useful when we get transformations.

No, I mean you cannot roll out of it. Pressing Space(Dodge) will stop the hammering, but it still takes another second or two of pulling on the armor.
