So I have a friend, who got a little too drunk at a party, when I picked her up from said party, she proceeds to throw up the contents of her stomach.
I got her back to her room, and she proceeded to dry heave 2 more times, bringing up very little from her stomach.
I got her to sleep now, and I am typing this as I am sitting next to her bed.
Any advice, should I just let her sleep it off, and if she wakes up at any point, should I do anything specific?

Get a bucket of water and a straw, or more beer.

Well for starters Get her in the recovery position so she doesnt Puke in her mouth and choke on to death...
http://www.wikihow.com/Take-Care-of-a-Drunk-Person
read this (it should help)
If they are asleep, make sure they are on their side, with their face facing the same way as their body is, not on the stomach or back, for either way they could drown in their vomit. If they vomit, they can aspirate it, and die
Keep water nearby if she wakes up and needs water (she will get very dehydrated)- i know i was that time i had a lil too much
A blanket helps too
Keep a phone nearby incase anything happens (just incase) ^^
Chances are She'll be fine
....
..
.
No taking advantage of said drunk person.... unless its moppy .... OHOHOHOHO

I think you just let her sleep. o.o
If she throws up while she's out, turn her on her side so she doesn't choke. That's all I got. I don't have friends who drink.

I think she'll be fine just sleeping, since you said she was only dry-heaving. Put her on her side and she'll be fine. She'll sleep it out of her system and probably pay for it in the morning.

Thank you for all your help, I gave her some water when she woke up and puked, and she is lying on her side facing me right now.
I am going to stay with her through the night, so I can help if she needs it.

This is why I don't drink, or go to parties where people go just to get stupid drunk. I can't deal with people so drunk that they barf. Good luck to you and your friend.
Something that actually stops me from throwing up pretty quickly is Squirt soda. If I puke after drinking it, it will be only once. And then I'll either burp, or not throw up at all. >_>

Had to do this to my dad before (Thank god I got exercise, freaking heavy guy).
Carried him to his bed, get him a bucket in case he wants to vomit and got him water.
and LOL, he felt so much guilt after that, but it didn't affect me much at all... Hell, it was funny.
