According to the wiki, Frozen Blast duration is as follows...
Base Time * {1 + 5*[AM Bonus + (Water AM Bonus + Wind AM Bonus)/2]}
Base Time = 15 seconds at Rank 1
Alchemy Mastery = 15%
Water/Wind Mastery = 10%
Totaling 33.5 seconds, plus Cylinder bonuses...
Wind Cylinder = +1 second
Hurricane Cylinder = +2 seconds (Does double bonus apply to freezing time?)
Cylinder Upgrades = +6 seconds
Special Upgrade = +2 seconds
Tower Cylinder = 1.5x duration
Enchants = +2 seconds
Meaning a total of 45.5 seconds with a regular cylinder, or 53.25 seconds with a tower.
Are these calculations correct? That seems like way too long of a freezing time to be true. Outside of something like Master Lich, I can't think of anything that wouldn't be killed in 45-60 seconds of uninhibited attacks, in addition to the Prot reduction (does that get a bonus too?).
Bonus question : Has anybody tried/succeeded at freezing the Reaper?

Almost one whole minutes of freezing is just amazing!
But the Grim Reaper cannot be frozen. As in, you can target him, but you can't use the skill. Sorta like Ice Spear.

Since when is 2 second load time + 60 seconds worth of doing "stuff" to a mob broken? human smash can load in 2 seconds and takes far less than 60 seconds for the skill animation to finish and kill a mob. Is smash broken because you get to the same end: a dead mob, faster than Frozen blast?
FrB is only useful against things you couldn't just one-shot with a different skill anyway. And players have been able to kill those things without FrB utilizing comboes and outright strong skills.
Just because a skill is strong/useful and does what it is intended to do well doesn't mean it is overpowered or broken. With an AP cost on par with adv magics, and with a lot of support from other skills and equipment to get this sort of effect, it better damn well be this strong.
