Have you ever had to use a torrent?
Pleas only discuss why and do not name where or link please.....
I just wanted to know if anyone else has....
If this is bad, just lock it, I understand.

Me, a lot. =x . I have no video game that is legal (obvious exception of free games).
Not exactly proud of it o3o. But if you lived on a third world country, you'd understand.

The cat uses torrents so the cat can download in one thing rather than seperate parts like rapidshare
it'll take like 5 hours longer waiting between dl restrictions

Torrents aren't necessary illegal, it's just that most people use it for pirating
I pirate insanely overpriced software, anime, and some foreign video games that I have no way of getting.
(I try to pirate as few thing as possible because I don't like doing it ;x)

I torrented some games... Except for Left 4 Dead 2. But I didn't buy that. :thief:
No I did not steal it, check the Spam zone for my post on one of Bankai's threads.

Of course I do. Private torrent sites rock.

I love Plants Vs. Zombies. If I could afford it, I would have bought it.

Had to torrent? Probably not. Did it anyway? Sure.

I use torrents when either
1) I can't find a show on direct download from a good site (basically, I won't use rapidshare.)
2) It's a series conveniently all together.
3) It's something old, and there's almost no chance of there being a re-release.

Hell yes.
The torrent protocol itself is not illegal in any way. Neither is any peer to peer file sharing. It just gets a bad name because of pirating.
But I support pirating 100%.
I use torrents so often that my utorrent loads up on startup on my server, and if I save torrents from any of my computers they will start to download on the server, then be moved to my shared directories.

Pirating?
Hell yes, heck, we Asians invented that stuff!
