Alright, i like alchemy alot, and im a Fire Alchemist, i specialize in Flame Burst and Heatbuster.
However; i have been focusing alot on Heatbuster and trying to improve my crit just to make it crit.
However, unless i use high ranked enchants later on, getting over 100% crit is nearly not that possible. I know its silly, i guess i just got obsessed with Heatbuster because i hitted so high with it.

Im Currently deciding on whether or not to make an Alchemy Set based on crit for heatbuster. Or try to maximize Fire Damage as much as i can? I have no clue which is the more effective, which obliviously probally seems like Flame Burst, but i dont see its potential in anything else but locking monsters and G13 Theatre Missions with Ice Type Monsters.

Things to consider: I have Rank 1(Mastered) Flame Alchemy, Flame Burst and Heatbuster, Rank 2 Alchemy Mastery. I also have Cressida Set made for Flame Burst and Lifedrain, and i use the Flame Alchemist Title (+10% Fire Damage) and i have a Volcano Cylinder(s).

I'll ask more questions as this topic goes on .__. Help please. Im currently lost on what i should do.

Note: I have Rank 3 Chain Cylinder at the momment.

Personally I'd advise the route I'm gonna be following-- fire alchemy enchants. Lots of 'em. Flame burst's main source of power is that you only need 30% crit to crit everything very often, and with maxed CC it chains a lot. Especially if you want to sacrifice a 10% bonus for an extra 10% activation rate by using CC Master.

No need to be rude. He said he wanted to use Heat Buster, so let him. It's really his preferences.

On a side note, I love Heat Buster. Wish it had a splash.
