Channel Crash Investigation and Server Update

  Dear Nexon users,
  
  There was an incident during the weekend January 28th in which players could endlessly spawn Brownie Assistants to watch over their kiosk shops. With the constant spawning of these shop assistants, a person with malicious intent could cause enough instability to crash a server's channel. To combat this behavior, we decided to bring the servers down and received a server update from the developer in Korea to address the problem.
  
  We currently investigating claims wherein certain players are being accused of item duplication during the instability and subsequent channel crashes. We intend to fully investigate and deal with the offending parties accordingly.
  
  We are planning compensation for Mabinogi Premium Service users during tomorrow evening's scheduled maintenance. In addition, ALL users will be able to receive a free 2x Combat EXP potion from the in-game cash shop on Wednesday, February 2nd.

  When people on Maple crash maps, take advantage of exploits, etc., they get 5k Maple Points(equivalent of 5k NX) and 2x EXP and Drop. When something happens on Mabi, we get 2x EXP pots.

  For all the people complaining about what MS gets vs. Mabi during this situation, please try to remember that Nexon is perpetually apologizing to MS players for the 3-4 years where Nexon simply gave less of a damn about their cash cow's problems than was thought humanly possible. Well, that and their perpetual apology to MS players for actually playing MS at all. And I'll take a 2x EXP potion anyday. They can't avoid Double Rainbow forever.... *evil smirk* They've shown it to us. We can't unsee it.

  Because Premium Service users pay for having service. Maintenance and whatnot shortens the time they can enjoy the full benefits of having it even though they are paying for it, therefore the compensation.

  I don't think I'm awesome enough to handle Hard Mode dungeons. That or I just haven't tried.

  i guess i go double trans on scc hm or their method hm for ultra fast xp. Or just leave it on shop for later

  Best way to make use of Combat xp x2 melee-style? Assuming you can one-shot regular zombies with WM, activate Premium for a day, go to TNN, pop potion, have fun. Every time you spin, you gain at least 1k xp. Tack it on during a double rainbow and... well, game over, man. Game over.

  I hope they find the dupers and ban em. I just hope they do it right instead of doing a Blanket Ban like last time. Dam Dupers. Gold Dupe wasn't enough for them I guess.
