r1 Water Cannon can do 136 damage.
136 x 5 (How many you can charge) = 680
r1 Critical Hit = 150% of your attack
So that's around meh, 1000 attack.
Isn't that powerful? o.o
Actually...
Lets start with 136 damage, 6.5 multiplier gives 884 damage, critical 2,210 damage (2.5 multiplier I believe), taking 7.5 seconds maximum, 1.5 seconds assuming rank 1 chain cylinder at 10% success rate. Add +45% dmg rank 1 alchemy mastery
3204 damage. Forgive me if my calculations are wrong, im not that into alchemy yet
However you must consider this is END GAME situation, alchemy mastery is apparently ridiciously hard to train, and many skills arent even released (chain) or uncapped (mastery).
Now your
average (i use the term loosely) melee human will be able to comfortably pop 1000 smash. However if your using an end game alchemist as an example, consider a perfect melee character leveled up LOADS at age 10 (keep in mind stats dont affect alchemy damage).
3000~5000 damage while transformed shouldn't be too much of an exaggeration if we're talking endgame. Now assume this waternogi-like-character is a giant, that means your dealing this much damage with only 1.6 second load time.
In the end, either of them are quite 'powerful' anyway, considering I can only barely hit 1k :]
