@Endlessdreams: It's actually not that big a difference protection-wise, but defense-wise it is a significant jump (going up about 20 points I believe). Success in HM also directly correlates to how well you do in Adv. I'd say that you'll probably want to be able to 3-shot Adv. zombies non-crit and on crit be able to one-shot them (non-trans) in order for HM not to be an exercise in frustration. And Elite difficulty immensely puts HM in perspective. *shudders*
Err... I already do that. I should be able to consistently two shot, although I haven't tried adv Their Method in awhile. Their Method HM just takes too long for smaller amount of experience than SCC HM althrough it is safer.

Between heavy stander, protection, and higher defense, zombies take a lot more power to one-shot. SCC mobs not so much, and they tend to be nicely grouped even for a WM'r. Simple smashmill kills dopple reliably. clones get hit by wm and die as you maintain control of dopple. once all clones are dead, alternate smash/mill for better dps than pure wm. If you lag much, pure wm spam the whole way through. Adniel steals kills if used on adv or lower, I'd only suggest using him on hard, and just to cut a little time off of one run per mabi day (no reason not to use him if he's faster for you).
The gold/rewards seem a bit better in scc too, but I haven't really made a direct comparison.

Spreading can be a hassle, but is less of a pain if you line them up. To that end, preempting with smash (before they aggro) and then lining them up with Firebolt afterward works wonders and will completely negate the spreading issue as you start herding them in the same direction. A high-ranking smash also has the distinct advantage of greatly reducing the amount of windmills required to take down at least one zombie. And the implementation of assault slash makes it so that zombies that go into deadly do not require another windmill (also makes a great way to move around faster).
