  Most people shouldn't bother getting -any- ego except a dagger. Ego a dagger, never equip it except for very briefly to get blessings once per rl day, on the off chance that they prove useful or relevant. Over time, the dagger ego will actually pay for itself in the equipment blessings and occasional healing it performs that would have cost you HW or potions.
  
  I wish there was some way to beat it into people's heads just how terrible ego weapons are for them. But it seems impossible, as 99% of the people who ask about what ego they should get... end up getting an ego anyway. And they wonder why they stay poor, and have a worthless weak ego.

  Okay, as someone who has a Mura ego, I can definitely say that it's a fantastic weapon compared to the B-sword. Both are excellent choices as far as being a Windmiller goes. Mura has the advantage of a lot more crit, which gives it more versatility if you decide to sword and board or duel a lot. Also, the whole "NX repair" thing is a moot argument. If you're ever intending to get these swords to their maximum potentials (which you'll need to these days if you want them to compete with special upgrades + enchanted battle/broadswords) you'll HAVE to NX repair. These swords can't last long enough with their dura via conventional repairs. I've had my sword for over a YEAR to get it to where it is. No way it would last without NX repairing.

  Truth right there lol 99% of people don't raise a spirit weapon above 26 social lol that's generally where people get stuck... 21-31. Honestly most people should just look at what damage a 26 social version of their weapon will have and compare it to an S upgraded weapon (like a broad sword or battle sword (g14)) and let that decide whether or not they should even get a spirit weapon.
  
  Spirit incarnation is not worth it, at all. "It looks cool" but gets you killed :P Unless you have millions of gold to toss away, don't even dream of getting a weapon above 31+ social. With that said, I'm not hating against egoes. I love mine and prefer it over any other weapon.

  Your results are not typical. Most people won't get them that high, ever. NX repair isn't a big deal if you have the gold to pay for the ego past 31 social in the first place since obviously you have the gold to buy NX, or a job and thus money to blow on ingame things :P
