"Neither" or "I don't care" is not an option
whether you're big on politic or want nothing to do with political crap your views lean more on one than the other.
For those who don't know the terms :
As for me, I'm totally conservative.
LIBERALS - believe in government action to achieve equal opportunity and equality for all. It is the duty of the government to alleviate social ills and to protect civil liberties and individual and human rights. Believe the role of the government should be to guarantee that no one is in need. Liberal policies generally emphasize the need for the government to solve problems.
CONSERVATIVES - believe in personal responsibility, limited government, free markets, individual liberty, traditional American values and a strong national defense. Believe the role of government should be to provide people the freedom necessary to pursue their own goals. Conservative policies generally emphasize empowerment of the individual to solve problems.

liberal.
Honestly, I'd like to say that I'm neither. But I'm more liberal, I guess. Since I can't trust humans to do anything right.

Meh, I believe we don't have to depend on our government to provide.
Many "unfortunate" aka poor are because they dropped out of highschool, which guess what they get
WELFARE.
I'm on welfare because my parents cant work, but they get a check every month because they made bad choices, make them work for every penny they get.
which is my main anti liberal reason.
along with abortion that is.

Liberal. The diversity of Los Angeles probably helps.

Since you say it has to be on or the other, you decide:
I don't think government should exist. No matter where or when, government has always caused more harm than good. Our species should learn to coexist without needing any form of authority to make decisions for us.
Where does that fit in? That's how I see politics, as completely useless bullsh*t that should not exist. I don't se how I can fit into a political classification for something I don't think should exist.

New York! Pretty sure we've been liberal for like... the longest.

Chaos would ensue.
People could kill and get away with it.
Of course we need rules and someone to make those rules and uphold them. Be it a religious government or a democratic one. No government is just chaos.

I think the descriptions are too short. I'm a liberal because I believe in change, equal rights, liberty, human rights and free markets (capitalism). Government exists because the people granted it powers and they can take it away at any time, as Locke proposed.

The only way anarchy would work if we all had the mentality of a 6 year old who has never met an adult and never matured.
And even then, it would be the same thing all over again...

Oh, how I agree with this, and how I wish it could happen.

Despite that reality that's what my views are, and I don't think they fall into either category. I want us to evolve into a species that does not need any form of authority. Where everyone respects each other and people work towards improving themselves and the species as a whole with scientific and technological advancements. This is also why I posted in the alien thread that I don't think any civilization capable of rapid interstellar travel would do so just to invade others.

Are you against the state or the government?
