  The two of you get to collaborate and share answers among the two of you, but not anyone else.
  
  It'll help you think things out a lot more if you can discuss your answers.

  Yes. But you have to agree. If you each send differing answers, one of you will be wrong and you'll both get disqualified.
  
  I'm making that a rule so that you really have to work together, rather than just having an extra head to think, but there's no real partnership.
  
  For a third time, your partner can stop without any effect on you other than they won't be your partner anymore.
  
  (Also, I somehow imagine Cucurbita doing really well at this event. Someone should hurry and claim him as a partner.)
