The woman who planned this probably didn't give any thought about how the baby would have been raised. The rapist could not admit being the father without exposing himself, so her daughter would have had to raise the baby herself.

It is. But I also think that it's better to not always be sickened/in disbelief over everything you hear simply because it would drive you mad with all the negativity in the world.
