  Strong weapons = Not the way you wanna go. As far as I am concerned, I prefer damage at the start at first, then later on as I advance through the game, I focus on crit more. Which is why I am recommending faster weapons, because it's more damage overall accounting for speed. For stronger weapons, sure go for 15~41 upgrade Daggers, but get more used to the game first off before you go upgrading.
  
  It is confusing at first, but when you get the hang of it, it'll be easier later on. Plus, Bastard Sword has less crit than Daggers, if you can even hit crits on that thing atm.
  
  Think about it this way:
  
  Put two people up against a giant field boss like Red Dragon. They both have same damage about, and same crit as well. So one uses a Broad sword with 0-74 222 Path upgrade.
  The other one uses Daggers with a 15~41 damage upgrade. Who do you think would win in terms of damage?

  well whats the best 2 weapons i should invest money in , thatll last a long while? should i use a shield? i have the fighter light mail , but its ugly :( and water drop cap.

  Using a shield and a sword is fine, the best bang for your buck is a Kite Shield, and it'll last a long time. If you can, try doing Shadow Wizards or Defeat the Formor Commander Shadow Missions in Tatelliean for the Archers since they drop Kite Shield. If you have to buy it, buy it from players since they'll sell it in the 20-40k range, which is better than it's 60k price bought from NPCs.
  
  Wear a robe(from Fleta) if you don't like your fighter wear, but definitely keep it for the defense boosts, even though it's not much. :P

  Ex: Guardian of Avon what happens when you go with three people and everyone is attacking? The Grim reaper gets confuzzled, therefore he's target practice.

  It's an option, it's certainly faster than dual wielding Slow Weapons iirc.

  1. Get a fast one-handed weapon.
  2. Slash at him like you're a psychopath killer.
  3. When he notions to do an attack, just run STRAIGHT THROUGH behind him and continue slashing him.
  4. He's always going to turn to face you and want to attack you (his attacks are always in front of him). Just do the same and run to his back and hit him again.
  
  As long as he's not facing the side you're on, you're good. Be fast, and watch carefully for his actions. When he's mourning with those spirits, just continue to normal attack him. Persevere, and you'll win easily.

  i tried 5 times now, i cant even normaly hit him once, all i have is that simple dagger, its the only fast weapon for sell
