wow that was a great deal of info, thank you very much. I guess Ill work on WM, and refine, some crit. Ill worry about magic or possibly alchemy when i get those to where they need to be.
lol now I just need to understand the gear!
It seems I see a lot of pro players with 0 def or 2 def gear on, Is It not that important?
edit:
if i windmill a group of mobs like 3 or so, am gunna get owned! I just thought about that, whats the rotation then? I honestly never used wm
Like Moppy said earlier, Mabi is about not getting hit, mostly because higher level enemies deal upwards of 60 damage per hit, and most players don't have more than 200-300 HP, at least as far as I know. So one hit from an enemy will take out 1/5 of your HP, and most enemies have a two or three hit combo. You're looking at losing half of your health from a single slip-up, right there, and without insanely high defense and protection, there's not much you can do about it. To that end, armor with high protection/defense isn't really needed. You CAN use it if you're not so good at the whole "avoiding damage" concept (Like me), but you really don't need to, especially at higher levels. And if you don't need to spend a ton of money on a set of heavy armor and enchants, then that's some extra cash for you.
As for windmilling mobs of mobs, most, if not all enemies will attack you if you attack them. So if you WM three mobs, they'll probably all aggro you. If they're low-level mobs like spiders or something, you'll be fine. If they're goblins, though, you're pretty screwed, because your WM is so low currently. But, if your WM skill is high enough, you can take them out with a single WM, lowering the danger that comes with being multiaggro'd. And in most dungeons, mobs will multiaggro you a lot.
Sorry if what I say isn't quite accurate; I'm just coming back to Mabi after a few months, so I need to get back in the saddle.
