I hope this doesn't violate any rules with me asking but...
Some people have completely black items - not just one, but lots of them in their bank. Black clothes, metals, hilts, everything!
My question is do they use regular dyes / metal dyes + mods? or what?
:what:

It's probably a combination of metal and regular and fixed dyes, along with luck/gachapon.

With metal dyes there is lil pure black specs that you can get with metal dye.

I thought metal dyes don't have pure black spaces... only something close.

I'm pretty sure they have like 1 pixel every time. But only 1.

This. White and Black are the easiest colors to get on clothing palettes with it.

White and black are pretty easy to get
manually.

Black 000000 is easier (less time-consuming) with a dying program. White FFFFFF takes a bit longer to get 3+ It's also easier to get by hand. For weapons, there's a black 131313 on the metal palette, but it's only a 1/5 (verrrrry rarely 2/5) chance.

Yeah but black blades are gacha or smith as they cannot be dyed black. Also, don't feel you NEED to use mods to dye, they aren't NECESSARY, just helpful. You can get the same results without mods.

Most people use dyeing programs and whatnot...
I've gotten 4/5 blacks on a regular dye amp without using one though, pretty rare and I never got it ever again. I usually commonly get 3/5 black or white before doing dyeing. I only use black in my colors now, so I never use white. But I do so for armor, so white is like one puny black spec or one puny white spec to choose from.
Yes, it's possible to get 2/5, but it's extremely hard to do so..And pretty time comsuming to do as well.. Especially when at the end your result might not have a very high chance and fails to succeed.

It's faster and less frustrating to do it by hand. Getting 3 black/whites is not hard at all. Takes me a few minutes at most. A dying program is mainly for specific colors (i.e. 72000x reds), as it lets you view the actual color code.

Don't need mods to get pure blacks on things. I can do it just fine in one or two regular dye amps for cloth.

Most people who want perfect blood reds or so use these dying codes as well. Some with the perfect aqua blue, etc..
I only use pure red fixed dye amps for reds because I can't stand impures. D:
