What do you guys do to get over it?
Personally I tend to bottled it up until I explode and terrorize some random person, but that tends to end badly.
Especially when you lack a victim, qqq.. Someone give me a victim. nao. plz.

I just make sure I'm aware of it actively so it doesn't interfere with my life.
it tends to do more harm than good. usually those with high levels of jealousy have some sort of insecurity.

That's for sure.
Too bad there isn't a cure for it though, lmao. I hate being a jealous person.

it just requires some self control skills, you need to separate yourself from your jealousy and then deal with it as it arises, so you don't let it control your actions. Eventually you'll be able to negate it or use that energy in some other way such as your work or a creative outlet.
easier said than done of course..

Mmm, I have been trying that however, it has been quite awhile since I've even gotten jealous. I seldom even like people, let alone
like someone so I haven't had too many experiences in which I could even try and control it.
I'm trying to work on that, though.

i used to have a huge problem with jealousy when it came to my boyfriend or best friend but it's died down a lot. when i do get a little jealous i stop and remind myself how important to each of them i am and why, reminding myself i'm special and not easily replaceable to them both
maybe it sounds a little narcissistic from another's point of view but it sure helps me o_o

It would help if I was actually in a relationship with the person, LOL. Or they actually returned my feelings.
..Or even knew.
But yeah, I understand. :P

Jealousy as in... a couple's relationship, or jealous as in just the attention of someone you know being taken away by someone else at the moment?
The first part, all my jealousy were unfound in my lifetime. The second part, I usually get jealous a lot when the friends I'm hanging out with suddenly decide to hang out with other friends during "us" time.
Again, most (if not all) of the jealous moments I have were invalid.

Mmm. A mixture of both, I suppose. Though I wouldn't say their attention is the major issue..
I'm very easily jealous, even if the other person is not at fault in any way, so.. :P
But I understand what you mean. I don't act childish because of my jealousy, but the reasoning behind it tends to be quite so.

Don't forget, there are some (not the majority though, from what I've seen) jealousy cases where the reasoning for jealousy has proof.
The idea and the cases that there are threats to relationship are what breeds jealousy in the first place.

Haha, that's rather spot on. Though sadly, I lack the grounds to be jealous in the first place. It's rather depressing.
I guess it is nice to say that's probably the issue, though. Or just a reminder of somethin'.

I think the way i deal with jealousy, since it's usually indirect, I find the source and nip it in the bud.
It usually ends up with me looking very flakey/insincere, but it's something I've learned to cope with.
*aloof*

Jealousy is something that makes you want to be in the same position as the person you envy.
Lets say.. there's this really hot girl (typical).
Jealousy in this moment would be going in your head / mind / whatever you imagine with -> Aww man. I want that girrrrl.
You envy the person and act strange towards em'.
Another example.. you like.. drawing.. and you're good at it.
BUT SOMEONE BEATS YOU.
You: Noo and you feel sad. The End
