I'm also rather concerned about having too much content, but for different reasons. A lot of people seem to have vanished from the East server, and it's getting hard to find people to do raids with these days. I'm rather afraid of PUGs getting spread too thin across the raids. Though maybe my fears are unfounded because there's only one 20AP raid. (Right?)

From what I've seen happen with laghodessa and blood lord patches, a lot of people will jump in and start fighting new bosses in the first few weeks, so as long as you're around during that time, you should be able to fight whichever one you're interested in, especially if you can host games.

You also have to consider that a lot of people only really fought Blood Lord for the money. Now that Blood Lord blood is only 20k a pop, there's not much of an incentive to hunt him.

As for Laghodessa... that fight is even more boring than a Palala round of BL.
