Yeah.. this should be locked.
Don't use this as an excuse to shove your BS religion in our faces. <3
thank you.~
LOL fail troll fails.
Religion was never meant to be a part of this thread until someone brought up the fact that the name of God is used as a curse word.
Moral of the story: Think before you troll

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog,
with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
He was stating, whilst extremely biased/unnecessary, his opinion, not trying to troll you.
Moral of the story: THINK BEFORE YOU POST DEFINITIONS THAT YOU THINK YOU KNOW THE MEANING OF WAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good moral.
Indeed, I was careful to make sure that his comment was indeed off topic and inflammatory before calling him a troll. Of course, he
may have been simply stating his opinion without the intent to troll, but I'm not a mind reader.

So tell me, in what way does this thread push religious bull poop (see wat I did thar?)? Since the truth is on your side, it shouldn't be too hard for you to enlighten me about this right?

When did this topic become about religion?
I personally think that cursing is fun sometimes, especially when you're really angry. My favorite foul word is "b*tch." Saying it feels sooooooooo good when you're enraged.

Oh, and since I want to keep on topic..
Like a lot of other people mentioned, the meaning of words have drastically changed over time. Gay, queer, etc. I personally don't find cursing to be bad at all. I do find it to be offensive when in public, spouting it left and right, ESPECIALLY around children, but honestly, when in the right environment, sh*t, cursing is great. As mentioned, though.. Around kids, I won't even say, "Damnit," unless I'm pretty pissed off. Agh.

Nah. I don't waste time on people.
I was being 100% truthful, though if you wish to deem me a troll, you have every right to and I shall not stop you.
Also, I'm awaiting my warning. <3

So like I said earlier, please show me how this thread is a religious thread. Indeed there is some religious stuff
contained in it, yet you make it out to be some plot to push religion. Speak good sir if the truth is with you!

ON TOPIC. ON TOPIC. ON TOPIC.
No need to pick on someone because of his or her Christian beliefs. Mentioning a Bible verse or two from the Bible does not mean that a thread should be locked. Believing in God doesn't make you an idiot. Coming into a thread and saying those things was completely unnecessary, Cynic.
Come on, we can do better.
So Sparta, you don't ever curse?

Andy-Buddy wrote on 2011-02-11 01:39
@Spartaaaaa: It became religious when you began quoting the bible.
Also: There's not much to be confused about with Foul Language.
Your uses of the words are the old definitions. They have become outdated with modern use, save for technical terms within trades. The post was simply using these words improperly and in an immature fashion. You mustn't be so resistant to change, especially in language, or you won't be able to understand anyone.
Anyways, foul language, aka cuss words, curse words, bad words, & etc., have their own histories. B**** came from simply that calling someone a dog was insulting, especially to be called female. Son of a B***** is simply calling your mother a dog. Now in modern terms, these uses have expanded to the use of annoying and just plain terrible.

I assumed the fact that religion follows you like a shadow was enough, rofl.
Your signature is a prim example. At the mere mention of god, you quickly turned this into a topic regarding religion.
Whall you could have easily just denied it or stated some other opinion, you started quoting the bible.
Sorry for not assuming it was obvious, I guess?
And lol sorry.
ON-TOPIC: I'm in love with cursing.
Not mindlessly unless I'm pissed, but even so. The people who feel the need to use it next to every other word.. Y THEY DO DIS.
