I hate WM, its at R9 and will not move till everything else is capped.
And my friend quit Mabi cause she doesn't have any pets. She lives in Mexico so she lags and pets would help her dungeon.

Considering most of my Mabinogi experience was withouts pets and all other entails, i have already done which you requested.
Also, Isnt Windmill supposed to help out in those situations? Are you now giving everyone a new excuse not to rank up Windmill?
Contrary to popular belief, windmill is not all-powerful. Sometimes, there are situations where windmill doesn't solve everything.

Windmill is overrated. R1 is helpful generally however it isn't almighty.
I still need pets to control monsters like shadow ghost and annoying archer multiaggro while in Tara.

Wow, I thought this was a completely different subject, If i feel like it, ill post some AI's But i'd rather see everyone doing stuff by themselves.
If you need pets to fight, Dont bother fighting.
1. You are correct by stating the limited offensive usefulness of pets. However, in order to solo certain hard level shadow missions (and advanced hard-mode dungeons) pets are vital when controlling agro.
2. If I needed pets to fight, I would use them. It would get me further than your advice.

i was meaning, if you need pets to fight, As in to distract a enemy while you charge/load/deploy a skill.

I find the comment to be untrue. Especially for people like me who have to deal with latency of 300ms and above. I sometimes do need pets to distract enemy to buy that extra time to load a skill.

Then I won't be surprised if you either have good connection, you are a tanker-type (high defence/DK/mana shield) character or you are fighting dungeons that are too easy for you.
