I am PURE mage. Only rank 9 Combat Mastery and thats that. I'm in a dilema. I almost never make money(have potential to make 100k/hour but to lazy) and my current armor and outfit costs 300-400k to repair. It also offers stomp defense and a total of ~35 total defense and 30% melee passive defense and 20% ranged passive defense. I am planing on switching to a MUCH cheaper solution that only costs 150k to repair at max. It also involves TWO status effects which is mana reduction and explosion resistance. However it only offers me ~30 total defense. Should i move on to my new outfit and sell the old for a total of ~2Mil or keep it. PLEASE help me. I also would like to know if accessories can be enchanted if the scroll says (Enchant For All) and is it even possible to have 2 status effects active at the same time?!!?!?!

If the upkeep costs are making you broke, sell the stuff.

Accessories can be enchanted with "For All" scrolls.
Yes it's possible to have 2 statues effects at the same time.

dont get hit?

i am a lvl 2k+ pure mage and i wear very low def equips. it takes about 5k or less to repair all (except wands) and i rarely get hit. only die 1-2 times a week due to nexon's unfortunate lag

Mana shield and 300 int is the solution to low def. Although having tank def set with mana shield is nearly gamebreaking. See my list on my guide in siggy called The mana Master.

It's possible to have up to FOUR status effects at once. The set I used to use back when I used Ciar Adv. to level had Poison Resistance, Mana Reduction, and Stamina Reduction. I could've added Explosion Resistance by sacrificing a number of +MP enchants, but it wasn't really worth it.

The REAL solution for low defense as a pure mage is as Taran said -- simply don't get hit. If magic is your main fighting style you should practically never receive damage.

Zyrus's method is extreme endgame, but extremely good as well. Definitely not a solution for you at this point though.

If your following Triggers guide on maging once you get r1 thunder I would recommend getting r6 mana shield. It really is a lifesaver regardless of what your wearing.
