I'm used to seeing my own topics there after I post a new topic, just to see if there is any response or so. I'm not sure if anyone else has the same problem but I just can't find my own topic after using the New Pots search....:no!: ---> lol for these new things

When I click on New Posts I see a list of threads that have recently been posted on o.o
If you can see your own or not might depend on there being too much threads being made today? What do you see exactly?

Basically, when you click on new posts, it only brings up posts that are unread. When you make a post/thread, it automatically sets it to read, so when you click on New Posts, you don't get it shown in the list. Basically, the OP is wondering why it's different from the New Posts feature that Guru had where it shows threads that have been posted in, and stays there even after being read.

I saw your post and my thread being finally listed...but it disappeared after I read this topic.
Just not too used to this new system...not sure if anyone else noticed...
Edit: It's exactly what Arsik said.

Beat me by a second, Arsik. Aye, he'll probably be able to see his threads at the new posts link when it gets replies.

Yup like that. I never used it on guru so I had no idea, but this is how it's programmed in this version of the forum software.

Its obvious that we'd get a large number of complaints about the new posts feature, since this is how everyone browsed through very quickly at every new thread and post. I used it more than anything.
Its a little different, so it'll take a bit to get used to. But unless there is a major problem, I don't see why we'd need to change it.

It's not too bad, I guess. Though with this, I might need to find some way to keep track of threads that are of extreme interest or so. Maybe subscription will help.
